Dr. Wei-Chung Chen received his undergraduate degree from Duke University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude along with Phi Beta Kappa. He received a Master of Public Health degree from Yale University and earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. After medical school, he received his training in internal medicine at Houston Methodist Hospital, followed by subspecialty training in Gastroenterology at Mayo Clinic Florida, where he was an Assistant Professor of Medicine. He completed advanced training in therapeutic ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasonography at the Keck Medical Center of the University of Southern California.
Dr. Chen strives to deliver the highest quality of digestive disease care to his patients with compassion, sensitivity, and respect.
His clinical focus includes Gastroenterology, Colonoscopy, Colon Cancer Screening, Upper GI Endoscopy, ERCP, Endoscopic Ultrasound, Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR), Hemorrhoid Banding, and Telehealth Consultations. He is fluent in English and Chinese-Mandarin.
