What Is Medically Integrated Dispensing?
Medically Integrated Dispensing allows your medication to be:
- Processed and verified by our in-office clinical team
- Coordinated directly with your provider
- Dispensed at your clinic location
- Supported with counseling, monitoring, and refill management
This integrated approach reduces delays, improves communication, and helps ensure you receive the right medication at the right time.
If your medication cannot be filled in-office due to insurance or availability, our team coordinates transfer to an approved specialty pharmacy so treatment continues without interruption.

How Does Medication Pickup Work?
Step 1: Prescription Processing
Our MiD team verifies insurance coverage, processes prior authorization if needed, and prepares your medication.
Step 2: Pickup Appointment
During your pickup visit, a provider will:
- Verify your identity
- Review medication instructions
- Discuss storage requirements
- Answer your questions
- Document receipt with your signature
Pickup visits are not billed as medical appointments unless additional care is provided.
Medications must be picked up within 10 days of processing to comply with insurance requirements.
Prescription Refills
Refills are typically processed about 7 days before your medication is due.
You will be notified when your prescription is ready for pickup.
To avoid treatment delays, please request refills in advance when possible.
Financial Support & Insurance Coverage
MiD participates with many insurance plans, though coverage varies by benefit design.
If coverage limitations or high out-of-pocket costs occur, our team may:
- Assist with co-pay support programs
- Help apply for manufacturer assistance
- Transfer prescriptions to an in-network pharmacy if needed
- Provide cost estimates and benefit review
Our goal is to make treatment financially accessible whenever possible.
Medication Safety & Storage
Proper medication handling helps ensure effectiveness and safety.
Room Temperature Medications
Store between 68°F and 77°F in a cool, dry location away from sunlight and heat.
Refrigerated Medications
