Dr. Tim (Tien-Chun) Chen received his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He returned to his hometown of Houston to complete his three-year residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, and then completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center before relocating to Los Angeles.
Dr. Chen is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American College of Gastroenterology. “My clinical practice emphasizes patient empowerment through educating patients and their families about their digestive health conditions. I believe in individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s conditions and needs. I strive to treat all patients with sensitivity and compassion.”
His clinical focus includes Gastroenterology, Colonoscopy, Colon Cancer Screening, Upper GI Endoscopy, Capsule Endoscopy, Small Bowel Enteroscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Fatty Liver Disease, Erectile Dysfunction, and Telehealth Consultations. He is fluent in English and Chinese-Mandarin.
