For over 30 years, Richard D. David, MD, FACS has provided urologic care to patients throughout the San Fernando Valley. He serves as Chief Medical Officer for the Genesis Healthcare Partners Los Angeles Division of Unio Specialty Care — the largest urology group in Los Angeles — and as Medical Director for the Prostate Cancer Center of Excellence and Medical Director of Clinical Research for Genesis Healthcare Partners. He earned his undergraduate degree at Stanford University, his medical degree at Thomas Jefferson University, and completed general surgery training and urology residency at UCLA Medical Center.
A board-certified urologist and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. David has received "Super Doctor" designation 16 times. His clinical and research interests include minimally invasive endoscopic treatment for urologic diseases, sexual function and prosthetics, and advanced prostate cancer. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
