Hassan Saada, DNP, NP-C grew up in England, Egypt, and Maine. He is an adult nurse practitioner specializing in urology since 2020. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island (URI) in 2019 and began his career in urology at Providence VA Medical Center. In 2023, Hassan achieved his doctorate in nursing practice at URI with a research focus on improving health outcomes for transgender and gender-diverse veterans.

Hassan implemented a clinical staff education program on transgender veteran care at Providence VA Medical Center, earning the “Nurse Practitioner of the Year” award from Rhode Island Monthly Magazine in 2024. Hassan has also held adjunct faculty positions in this timeframe, teaching undergraduate nurses in the clinical setting at Rhode Island Hospital.

In the summer of 2024 Hassan moved to San Diego and began practicing with Unio Specialty Care. While he offers compassionate and competent care for both male and female urology patients, Hassan’s practice has grown to include an emphasis in men’s health. In October 2025 he completed a men’s health fellowship under Dr. T. Mike Hsieh at UCSD.

Hassan offers Xiaflex injection therapy for Peyronie’s disease and comprehensive medical management of both erectile dysfunction and testosterone deficiency, employing an integrated approach that emphasizes overall health and well- being. Hassan also proudly offers an affirming clinic environment for LGBTQ+ patients.

He loves the San Diego area and enjoys biking, hiking, yoga, and spending time with friends and family.
