Dr. Jennifer Lu was born and raised in Farmington Hills, Michigan. She went on to complete her undergraduate degree in neuroscience at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduating in 2014, she stayed on at Johns Hopkins Hospital as a research coordinator in the department of neurosurgery and in 2015, she was recruited to work at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Saudi Arabia to coordinate their new neurosurgery department and research team. Dr. Lu received her medical degree from Albany Medical College in 2020 where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.
Dr. Lu completed her residency in Urologic Surgery at SUNY Stony Brook on Long Island, NY in 2025 and completed her fellowship in Robotic Surgery and Minimally Invasive Urologic Oncology at University of Southern California in 2026. She currently practices in all general urology as well as robotic urologic oncology.
