Zubin Shetty, MD

Dr. Zubin Shetty is a fellowship-trained urologist specializing in all aspects of general urology, with a particular interest in advanced surgical management of kidney stones, and endoscopic surgeries for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and robotic surgery for benign reconstruction and malignancy. He is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and tailoring treatment to the unique needs of each individual. His goal is to combine advanced surgical techniques with a personalized approach, helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Shetty earned his medical degree from the Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed a general surgery internship and urology residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, followed by a fellowship in Endourology and Minimally Invasive Surgery at the University of Iowa. His fellowship training emphasized advanced robotic, laparoscopic, and endoscopic techniques for complex urologic conditions.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Shetty has been active in research and education. He has authored peer-reviewed publications and presented at national meetings on topics including surgical outcomes, quality of life, and innovations in urologic oncology and endourology.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Shetty enjoys spending time with his family, attending concerts, working out, and cheering on his beloved Detroit sports teams.
