Dr. Wilfred Kearse Jr. has been in private practice since 1996, after leaving the Air Force Medical Corps, where he was a staff urologist at a large Air Force teaching hospital in San Antonio. He was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, graduated from Duke University and the Medical University of South Carolina, and completed his urology residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center, Lackland AFB, Texas.
He has been in practice at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego since 1996. He is board-certified in urology, a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology, and an active member of the American Urological Association and the Society of Government Service Urologists.
He really enjoys seeing patients in the office and performs most general urology procedures, either in the office or at the hospital. His clinical focus is General Urology.
