Dr. Stephen Unterberg is a general urologist who specializes in complex voiding dysfunction, male and female urinary incontinence, reconstruction, and neuro-urology. He earned his undergraduate degree in neuropsychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. He completed his residency at UC San Diego and a fellowship in Female Urology at University College Hospital in London, in association with the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.
Dr. Unterberg treats patients with all urologic conditions and has a particular interest in complex bladder and voiding dysfunction. He specializes in Aquablation — a non-invasive treatment for BPH — and has reached a milestone of 50 patients treated with the procedure.
