Dr. Sepehr Nowfar, MD, FACS, MPH, QME is a board-certified urologist and recognized leader in clinical practice, public health, research, and medical-legal evaluation. A distinguished physician whose career has earned numerous accolades and leadership positions in healthcare, he completed his undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley with honors in Molecular and Cellular Biology, earned his Doctorate of Medicine and Master of Public Health simultaneously at Tulane University, and finished his urology and general surgery residencies at UC San Diego. He joined West Coast Urology in 2011.
Dr. Nowfar serves as medical director and primary investigator of the research division, contributing to clinical trials, peer-reviewed publications, and conference presentations. As a Qualified Medical Evaluator for the State of California, he provides medical-legal opinions in Workers' Compensation, Subsequent Injuries Benefit Trust Funds (SIBTF), Independent Medical Evaluation (IME), and personal injury cases — work that has helped individuals navigate complex legal and medical challenges.
