Pooya Banapour, MD, FACS is a general urologist and urologic oncologist who specializes in minimally invasive urologic surgery. He earned his BS in Physiological Science at UCLA, graduating Summa Cum Laude with departmental honors, and received his medical degree from the UC San Diego School of Medicine.
Dr. Banapour completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident in 2018–2019. He completed a fellowship in robotic urology and urologic oncology at City of Hope Medical Center, with additional post-graduate training in reconstructive and female urology.
