Dr. Allison Sih is a board-certified urologist who provides comprehensive urologic care with a special interest in reconstructive urology, women’s pelvic health, cancer survivorship, and minimally invasive robotic surgery. A Bay Area native, she was born and raised in San Jose, California, and graduated with honors from the University of Southern California before earning her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Sih completed her general surgery internship and urology residency at Temple University Hospital and Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia. She then pursued advanced fellowship training in reconstructive urology and cancer survivorship at City of Hope, where she specialized in female pelvic medicine, complex urinary reconstruction, and robotic-assisted surgery. During her training, she worked alongside internationally recognized leaders in the field and has presented her research at national scientific meetings, receiving multiple first-place research awards.
As a urologist with Golden Gate Urology, Dr. Sih is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care to patients throughout the Bay Area. She treats a wide range of adult urologic conditions, including kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), urinary incontinence, recurrent urinary tract infections, pelvic organ prolapse, sexual dysfunction, urologic cancers, and other disorders affecting the urinary tract and reproductive system. She has extensive experience performing robotic-assisted procedures using the da Vinci Surgical System, as well as other minimally invasive and reconstructive techniques.
Dr. Sih believes that the best care begins with listening. She partners closely with each patient to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their medical needs, lifestyle, and goals, empowering them to make informed decisions and achieve the best possible quality of life.
