Dr. Arman Walia is a fellowship-trained urologic oncologist specializing in the comprehensive management of prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancer. He earned his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine and completed his urology residency at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Walia then went on to complete an advanced urologic oncology fellowship at NYU Langone Health, where he received specialized training in robotic surgery and innovative treatment strategies for localized and advanced disease.
Dr. Walia’s surgical expertise ranges from complex oncologic resections to organ-preserving focal therapies. He is actively involved in research and serves as the Principal Investigator for multiple clinical trials. As Co-Director of the Unio Cancer Center, Dr. Walia oversees the full spectrum of urologic cancer care and regularly participates in multi-specialty tumor boards to provide high-quality care to the San Diego community. Outside of urology, Dr. Walia enjoys playing soccer, surfing, reading, and spending time with his wife and family.
