Unio Specialty Care has developed an Overactive Bladder (OAB) Patient Navigator program to better serve you throughout your OAB evaluation and treatments. The OAB patient navigator works closely with your Unio Specialty Care urologist to keep communication open between you and your doctor.

Some of the responsibilities of an OAB patient navigator are to provide education and reinforce to you and your family/caregivers the importance of adherence to treatment schedules, practices and follow up, as well as, facilitating timely scheduling of appointments, diagnostic testing and procedures to expedite the plan of care and to promote continuity of care.

Your patient navigator will be calling you periodically to ask questions regarding your responses to treatments and will relay the results to your doctor.

Please make sure to call your patient navigator instead of the urology office when you have any questions/concerns about your OAB condition and/or treatments.

OAB is a chronic condition, meaning that it can last a long time and it can be a challenge to treat. Our goal is to make your life more comfortable while treating this condition.
