Dr. Adrianne LaJoie received her undergraduate degree at the University of Miami and completed her premedical studies at UC San Diego. She attended the Keck School of Medicine at USC in Los Angeles, California. After graduating as a Dean’s Scholar, she completed her Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at Scripps Clinic and Research Institute in La Jolla, California. During her time at Scripps Clinic, Dr. LaJoie won awards in both clinical research and humanitarianism. She holds dual board certification in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Dr. LaJoie has been practicing gastroenterology since 2007. Her special interests include women’s gastrointestinal health, inflammatory bowel disease, and chronic liver disease. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the California Medical Association.

Her clinical focus includes Gastroenterology, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and Fatty Liver Disease. Dr. LaJoie is from San Diego and resides in Encinitas.
