Dr. Micha Rojany was born and raised in Southern California. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley. After, he attended USC Medical School and completed his internship and residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Additionally, he completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of California, Davis.

Dr. Rojany has practiced in Ventura County since 2006 and is an active member of the local medical community and hospital staff at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, and Pleasant Valley Hospital, in Camarillo. He enjoys practicing as a Gastroenterologist with special interests in inflammatory bowel disease and biliary tract diseases.

When not in the office, Dr. Rojany enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters and mountain hiking on the local trails.

Dr Rojany has seen me several times over the past 10 years. He diagnosed an esophagus issue that had been plaguing me for years. He also has done two colonoscopies on me. Both were relatively easy with detailed analysis. Dr Rojany is a practical physician. He listened to my complaints, asked me questions that led him to resolving an issue, and is overall one of the best physicians I have ever had in my 76 years. This last colonoscopy I was concerned about what type of anesthesia I would be getting as I had a problem recently with a drug that I reacted badly to. After much discussion with the anesthesiologist, Dr Rojany came in and explained where the Anesthesiologist was coming from and why he thought it in my best interest to get the type drugs being recommended. His confidence, bedside manner and best treatment path was enough for me to accept the recommendations. He is one of the best Gastroenterologist's in this area. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Rojany, to put it simply. SAVED MY LIFE!!! I had been to that office prior and was seen by another Dr. (I won't mention name), but the Dr in question basically said there's nothing I can do for you. He wouldn't even answer any questions. I was told by a relative to make the appointment with Dr. Rojany. What a difference. Same building same kind of Dr. Completely different attitude. He told me exactly what we were going to do. 9/6/19 Update Post: I had my procedures done the end of July and Dr. Rojany did an excellent job. I didn't wake up during the procedure and I had no adverse affects after waking up in recovery. I've had 3 of these before and they were nightmares. Not with Dr. Rojany - he is the best. I highly recommend him to anyone. Also the staff at the Surgical Center in Oxnard were amazing. They were so friendly, caring and calmed my concerns. They really cared and treated me with respect and dignity. This too was different from my past experiences. I was given the report that day and also Dr. Rojany contacted me with the results from the biopsy. If you have a choice of Doctors for GI needs, choose Dr. Rojany! Posted in March 2019 after my first visit: I was very impressed with Dr. Rojany. He was attentive and listened to all my concerns. He has a calm and friendly demeanor, but was also professional in his interaction with me. He addressed my concerns/fears and gave his opinion and advice. He did not push me to make a decision, but left it to me. He was very knowledgeable and instilled confidence in me to make a decision. The office staff were also very helpful, professional, and friendly in their interactions with me. I will highly recommend Dr. Rojany to anyone.

I've already reviewed my consultation with Dr. Rojany and now review my colonoscopy with him. Obviously, during such a procedure one sees a lot less of the doctor (as you're unconscious). So the experience is dominated by the support staff and I can't say enough good things about the well trained, empathetic, incredibly professional nurses, admin staff and anesthesiologist. The facility is modern, airy, calm & spotless. All indications that this is a practice run with intelligence and care.

Dr Rojany was recommended to me by two nurse practitioners. I had put off a procedure for many years because I was afraid of the perceived pain it would cause (hemmoroidectomy). He was able to do a painless banding in a matter of seconds on that initial appointment and I will return for another banding next month. Dr Rojany gave me tips on how to prevent nausea during the cleanout process for colonoscopy. By doing so, he made the worst part of the colonoscopy process much better for me. Once my procedure was scheduled, Dr Rojany's practice uses a "patient advisor" service where I could order all of the supplies to prep and receive email reminders re: the restrictions and prep instructions for each day leading up to my procedure.

Dr. Rojany is the best doctor I could I ever be treated by. I am a young adult with a chronic condition. Due to my illness, I met many doctors during the course of 8 years. i can say with all honesty, he is the most wonderful doctor I have ever met. He quickly identified the level of my disease, immediately placed me on the best and effective treatment to abolish the terrible symptoms I had been experiencing for so long. Being referred to Dr. Rojany was the best thing that could have happened to me. This year I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. Dr. Rojany has been treating me for a rare liver problem for about 1 1/2 yrs. He diagnosed me very quickly and started treatment immediately. He was genuine, personal and very concerned about my condition. He is very easy to talk to and he listens. I have to add, when you are there, it seems like you are his only patient. If it wasn't for his quick diagnosis, my liver would have deteriorated.
