How the Gut and Brain Work Together
The gut and brain communicate through nerves, hormones, and the immune system, creating a two-way connection that can influence digestive health and quality of life.
Your digestive system and nervous system are constantly communicating. This is often referred to as the gut-brain connection.
This connection helps explain why digestive symptoms are real and how factors like nutrition, stress, sleep, and daily habits can influence one another. Understanding these connections can help explain why symptoms occur and identify approaches that support digestive health and quality of life.
