Dr. David Kornguth is the Radiation Oncology Chief of Unio Specialty Care – Radiation Oncology – San Francisco and leads an experienced team. Dr. Kornguth trained at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, and joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor before moving to California.
Treatment Philosophy
I believe that patients have to understand the disease process and be part of the decision making team. The old medical model was more of a paternalistic “doctor knows best” attitude that always bothered me. Patients deserve better than that.
