Dr. Haig Najarian is accepting new patients!
Dr. Haig Najarian is a practicing Gastroenterologist in Orange and Irvine, CA. He treats patients with gastrointestinal and liver disease and performs a wide spectrum of endoscopic procedures.
He was raised in Southern California and graduated from the University of California, Irvine, with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. Shortly after, he obtained his medical degree at the USC School of Medicine in 1992, where he developed his interest in gastroenterology and liver disease. Dr. Najarian then served his clinical internship, residency, and gastroenterology fellowship at the UC San Diego School of Medicine.
In 1997, Dr. Najarian joined the clinical staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Orange, as well as several other Orange County hospitals. Additionally, he has been an active member of the St. Joseph’s staff, serving on the Quality Enhancement Committee, as well as the Internal Medicine Core Committee, where he is the current Vice Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine. He also served as the GI Section Committee Chair and is an active member of the Medicine Executive Committee. Finally, he has been a sub-investigator in numerous clinical trials.
Professionally, Dr. Najarian’s main focus is to provide both excellence and compassion in his patients’ medical care. While he maintains a keen interest in implementing new techniques and treatments, these are always considered for his patients on an individual basis keeping their best interests the priority. His relationship with his patients and maintaining their trust are of utmost importance to him.
