Grace Sotelo, MD is a general urologist with comprehensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of urologic conditions. She is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care to both men and women with urinary dysfunction and general urologic concerns.

A Southern California native, Dr. Sotelo was born and raised in Poway, CA. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she first began to cultivate an interest in medicine and patient care. Prior to attending medical school, she gained valuable clinical and research experience as a Hyperbaric Technician, EMT, Endovascular Surgical Technician, and Staff Research Associate at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

Dr. Sotelo earned her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and went on to complete her residency in Urologic Surgery at Cook County Health in Chicago, Illinois. Her training equipped her with robust surgical expertise and a patient-centered approach to urologic care.

She is excited to return to California to serve the community where she grew up. Her clinical interests include urinary dysfunction, incontinence, and general urology, with a focus on restoring quality of life for her patients. Dr. Sotelo also speaks conversational Spanish and values being able to communicate with a diverse patient population.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Sotelo enjoys spending time with her husband and energetic toddler son. She takes every opportunity to enjoy the California sunshine—whether it’s at the beach, hiking, or simply being outdoors with her family. Dr. Sotelo welcomes you to her practice.ng soon!
