Largest Gastroenterology Group in California Continues Growing
GLENDALE, CA (NOVEMBER 2020) – Dr. Dana Pan, Dr. Justin Marasigan and Dr. Sherif Michael are the latest physicians to join the ever-growing gastroenterology medical group, Genensis Healthcare Partners. The new physicians are accepting patients for in-person and telemedicine appointments in their respective counties of Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and Ventura.
Dr. Sherif Michael earned his medical degree from the Ochsner University of Queensland School of Medicine. He went on to complete his Residency in Internal Medicine at Ochsner in New Orleans, and his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at LSU in Shreveport, where he served as Chief Gastroenterology Fellow. After having the opportunity to train in Australia and Louisiana, Dr. Michael has returned to his home state of California to serve the city of Santa Barbara.
Board Certified Gastroenterologist, Dr. Justin Marasigan, grew up in Los Angeles before relocating to Missouri to earn his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Marasigan completed his Internal Medicine Residency in Detroit and his Gastroenterology specialty training in Erie, Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Genensis Healthcare Partners, Dr. Marasigan was a practicing solo Gastroenterologist in Washington State. “I am excited to be back in Southern California and have the great opportunity to serve patients in Ventura County,” said Dr. Marasigan.
Joining inSite’s Chinatown and San Gabriel offices is Dr. Dana Pan, who received his Medical Degree with Distinction in Research from Saint Louis University, School of Medicine. Dr. Pan subsequently finished his Internal Medicine Residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center before completing his Fellowship training in Gastroenterology at the University of California, Davis.
